Daily Ramble
I recently told one of my friends that long blog posts are not necessarily effective. Unfortunately I might actually break the habit on this one once a week since I don't always have the ideal opportunity to update the blog during the week unless it's to report short and sweet bits of information.
The highlights of this week can only be the passing of our beloved puppy, Zack. As mentioned in a previous post we had to take him to the vet and had to make the decision to have him put down as he was losing blood continuously for no apparent reason. He was also under developed and would have had consistent problems in the long run. We are saddened by the loss but know that we had made the right decision.
I attended a Windows Vista OPK course on Thursday which looked at the ability to do automatic Vista roll outs and branding inside Vista. Microsoft has produced a brilliant set of OPK tools for OEM providers and distributors to make the deployment of Vista, pre-installed or on a mass roll out, simpler, easier and faster. I learned a bit about Vista during the process and again we discussed that the biggest downfall to Vista is the lack of hardware support. The freebies at this course was AMD shirts, 256MB USB Drives and Windows RC1 DVDs.
Michelle and I went to go and watch Best Friends on Tuesday night. Absolutely brilliant movie considering that it is a romantic comedy of sorts. Michelle did a pretty good review of it on HoneyB.co.za and I am hoping to sit down and write one by the weekend! I also have some software reviews I want to load apart from the normal industry and development updates already found on the site.
The design for the new HoneyB has started and should be ready by the middle of next week. Watch this space for more information.

Weekend forecast: We are spending some time with Craig and Tamsyn over the weekend. Long overdue friends time. Apart from that no major plans or events at the moment.
